PRTECT is my second brand. My first, CALISS, was built on a simple belief: workwear could be elevated and feminine without giving up comfort. That belief hasn't changed — it just found a new problem to solve.

I've been a keen sailor for years, and cotton was never built for it. It clings, it smells by lunchtime, and by the time you're back on land there's no version of “straight from the boat to dinner” that works. So I went looking for something better, and found it in performance fabric — Italian-milled, built for hot, humid, unforgiving conditions, the kind of engineering that has nothing to do with resortwear and everything to do with actually working.

That's the idea behind PRTECT: take fabric built to survive a real day at sea, and cut it into pieces considered enough for dinner. One dress that goes from beach to boat to table. Something you can rinse in the sink and wear again tomorrow, because I've always liked travelling light and never understood why “resort ready” had to mean a suitcase full of backup outfits.

UPF 50+ is built into the fabric itself, not added after the fact — it's simply what the fabric already does. The story was never about protection. It was about finally having something that could keep up.
